1.       Kim Jong Un Visits Tank Unit and Touts War Preparations. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un supervised a tank exercise and encouraged his armored forces to sharpen war preparations in the face of growing tensions with South Korea, the North’s state media said.

2.       US Eyes Change to Military Command in Japan as China Threat Looms. U.S. President Joe Biden and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida will agree next month to tighter military cooperation, including talks on the biggest potential change to Washington's East Asia command structure in decades, two sources said.

3.       Russia Launches Another Missile Attack on Kyiv. Ukraine Air Force Commander Mykola Oleschuk said Russia had launched two ballistic missiles from occupied Crimea and that both had been intercepted by the air defenses.

4.       No Evidence of Ukraine's Involvement in Moscow Mass Shooting: EU.  The European Union is concerned about the Kremlin attempts to put the blame on Ukraine for the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall near Moscow.

5.       Indian Forces’ Constable Injured in Attack by Naxal Rebels. According to Kashmir Media Service, the activities of Maoist rebels have intensified in Chhattisgarh state before the Lok Sabha elections, the lower house of the Indian Parliament.

6.       Indian Navy Hosts Six-Day Joint Defence Exercise ‘Tiger Triumph’ in Kakinada. Indian Navy is all set to host the six-day ‘Tiger Triumph’ — a bilateral tri-service Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) amphibious exercise — on the Kakinada coast from 26 Mar.

7.       Kashmir Historian Blames India for Committing ‘Memoricide’ in IIOJK. Kashmiri historian Hafsa Kanjwal has blamed India for committing “memoricide” and repression in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

8.       New Delhi Warns Kashmiri Govt Employees against Social Media Criticism. In what appears to be another tactic employed by the Modi-led Indian regime to dismiss Kashmiri government employees under various pretexts, New Delhi has issued a fresh warning against using social media to criticize its policies and actions.

9.       Taliban Forcibly Evicts Leader of Hezb-e-Islami Party From His Kabul Residence. The Taliban has forcibly evicted Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, leader of the Hezb-e-Islami Party, from his home and office, asserting that these properties are state-owned assets.

10.      The Leader of ISIS Group Linked to Moscow Attack has Global Ambitions. Sanaullah Ghafari, the 29-year-old leader of the Afghan branch of Islamic State, has overseen its transformation into one of the most fearsome branches of the global Islamist network, capable of operations far from its bases in the borderlands of Afghanistan.

11.      UN Security Council Adopts Resolution Demanding Immediate Gaza Ceasefire. The United Nations Security Council has demanded an immediate ceasefire between Israel and the Palestinian group Hamas in Gaza and the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages as the United States abstained from the vote.

12.      Houthis Warns of Targeting Saudi Arabia if Riyadh Colludes with US. “We conveyed a message to Saudi Arabia that it would be a target [for Yemen’s retaliatory strikes] if it allowed the US aircraft to use its territories or airspace in the aggression on Yemen,” Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a member of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council said at an interview with al-Masirah.

14.      Iranian Army Navy Presence in High Seas Ensures Shipping Security: Commander. The Army Navy Commander for Coordinating Affairs Admiral Babak Balouch said that Iranian destroyers and warships have had a constant presence in the route that connects the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea.

15.      Outlaw Arrested in Bannu Operation: Police. According to sources, the CTD and Bannu police collaborated in a joint operation targeting the Sarwar Fatah Khel area of Bannu. The operation involved sealing all roads leading to Fatah Khel.

16.      Pakistan Absent from IMF Executive Board Meeting Agenda. The International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) Executive Board has issued its calendar, outlining meetings until 3 April, with Pakistan’s case absent from the agenda.

17.      SIFC Approves Pakistan’s Largest IT Park in Islamabad. The IT Park will cover an extensive area of 3.3 acres and will be built in the G-10 sector of Islamabad.

Politics

14.      Pakistani Trade Delegation Visits Kabul in Sign of Easing Tensions over Cross-Border Attacks. A delegation from Pakistan’s Ministry of Commerce arrived in Kabul to meet its Afghan counterparts to discuss how to improve trade relations, after tensions have risen over cross-border militant attacks.
