1.       Chinese Navy Live-Fire Drills a ‘Timely and Forceful Response’ to Philippines’ Tilt to US, Expert Says. Recent live-fire drills by China’s navy in the South China Sea targeting “armed enemy fishing boats” were a warning shot to the Philippines as tensions between the two countries escalate over maritime disputes, observers said.

2.       Five Chinese Personnel’s Remains Brought Back to China: Wang Wenbin. A Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson said that the remains of the five Chinese victims who were killed in a terrorist attack on Dasu project in Pakistan were brought back to China on a Pakistani military plane.

The former head of the Pentagon’s investigation into the mysterious health incidents known as Havana Syndrome told the CBS investigation show “60 Minutes” he believes Russia was behind them and was attacking U.S. officials abroad and at home.

The British newspaper, The Economist, has highlighted in its analysis the growing division within India into two distinct blocs, with the Southern Bloc experiencing prosperity and advancement, while the Northern Bloc lags behind, raising concerns about the potential fragmentation of India.

6.       India’s Defence Exports Have Touched All-Time High of INR 21,000 Cr Says Rajnath Singh. India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday said that for the first time in the history of Independent India, the country’s defence exports have touched an all-time high of INR 21,000 crore in the financial year 2023-24, which is 32.5 percent more than the previous fiscal.

9.       Gaza's Al-Shifa Hospital in Ruins after Israeli Troops Withdraw. Israeli forces have withdrawn from Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City after a two-week operation, the Israeli military said, leaving behind a wasteland of destroyed buildings and Palestinian bodies scattered in the dirt of the complex.

10.       Israeli Airstrike Destroys Iran Consulate in Syria, Kills 6.  Iran’s state-run al-Alam TV reported that the Iranian consulate in Damascus was the target of an Israeli airstrike, resulting in six deaths.
