1.       Taiwan Says More Chinese Aircraft Crossed Strait's Median Line. Taiwan's defense ministry said its forces had detected a renewed incursion by Chinese military aircraft across the sensitive Taiwan Strait, less than a week before the island's new president takes office.

2.       PLA Delegation Arrives in Japan. A delegation comprising of 20 senior commissioned officers from the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) is reportedly embarking on a weeklong visit to Japan to conduct exchanges with Japanese Self-Defense Force (JSDF).

3.       US Bans Import of Uranium from Russia. US President Joe Biden has signed legislation banning the import of Russian enriched uranium which will come into force within 90 days.

4.       South Korea's President Promises to Keep up Ukraine Support. South Korea's President Yoon Suk Yeol confirmed his country's participation in a Ukraine peace summit in a phone call with his Ukrainian counterpart, President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on X.

5.       US Rights Group Condemns BJP Leaders’ anti-Muslim Hate Speeches in India. Dangerous Speech Project, a rights group based in the United States, has raised concerns as leaders of the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) continue to make hate speeches targeting Muslims during election rallies across India.

6.       BJP Regime Seizes Properties of Two More Civilians in IIOJK. According to Kashmir Media Service, the BJP regime seized land totaling 1 Kanal & 11 Marlas, valued at lakhs, belonging to Mohammad Arif and Mohammad Bashir in the Uri area of Baramulla district.

7.       Terrorist Groups in Afghanistan and Pakistan Gain Strength and Threaten US Interests, Report Finds. The United States Institute of Peace, a congressionally-established group that published the report, said that Afghanistan is a fertile area for terrorist threats compared to the time before the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan.

8.       Israeli Tanks Push into Gaza's Rafah, as Battles Rage in the North. Israeli tanks forged deeper into eastern Rafah, reaching some residential districts of the southern border city where more than a million people had been sheltering, raising fears of yet further civilian casualties.

9.       Iran Slams Canadian Motion to Designate IRGC as “Terrorist” Entity.  Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanani has condemned the Canadian House of Commons vote in support of designating the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a "terrorist group".

10.      FIA Interpol Arrests 66 Wanted Criminals in Last Six Months. Over the last six months, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) National Central Bureau (NCB) Interpol of Pakistan successfully apprehended 66 accused individuals wanted for serious crimes across various countries.

11.      Political Uncertainty, Inconsistent Policies Exacerbated Economic Situation: SBP. Political uncertainty and inconsistency in economic policies exacerbated the economic situation in Pakistan during the first six months of the current fiscal year (2023-24), the State of Pakistan (SBP) said.
